Team Manager Resources

The Livonia Hockey Association requires every team to have a team manager who assists head coaches with team finances, team votes, scheduling, fundraising, safesport, concussion, and general team operations.

Steps To Become A Manager

Step 1 - Register with USA Hockey

Register with USA Hockey as an Ice Manager/Volunteer. There is no cost.

Step 2 - Background Screening

Complete your background screening online. Background checks are good for 2 years and there is a processing cost of $30

Step 3 - Safesport Video Training

Complete the Safesport module. Safesport requires a valid USA hockey number from Step 1. You can complete this training in increments. Refreshers are required yearly. There is no cost.
